Deep Sea Creatures - The Hadal Zone

Black Dragon Fish

Black dragon fish are long thin animals. Females reac about 40 cm while males only reach 5 cm. Females are the more vicious of the two, having long sharp teeth, tiny eyes, and use bioluminenscence to lure their prey. They also have two lights on either side of their body to see where they travel. The male black-dragon is rather much smaller. They do not have a working gut, bioluminesenct chin, or any teeth. The Black-Dragon fish eat other fish and are occansionally found in other zones in the deep see but most common in the Hadel Zone

Spook Fish

 The spook fish is the only known organism that ever existed on Earth that uses mirrors in its eyes instead of lenses. Each eye had two seperate parts, one pointing up and one pointing down, so they can detect predators and prey. The Spook fish is nearly transparent with long thin bodies and eats crustaceans, corepods, and shelled invertebrates. Its lifespan is mere 5 years

Giant Tube Worms

 Giant tube worms do not have mouths, guts, or any form of digestive system. Instead has a mutual relationship with trillions of bacteria living inside its long tube shaped tissue. For every ounce there is roughly 285 million bacteria. It has a hrmoglobin of which binds with hydrogen sulfide from the vent water to warm the bacteria. Then who oxidize the hydrogen sulfide and change dioxide into compounds that can be used as a form of nourishment for the tube worms. The giant tube worm is considered a secondary producer because its relationship with the bacteria for energy processing.
