Underwater,

The Hadal Zone is comprised mainly of deep trenches that reach 11,000 deep. This is the result of tectonic plates converging where an oceanic plate is subsuctes below a nearby continental plate. The environment is characterised by the limited food supply, absence of light, hydrostatic pressure and low temperatures.

Conditions

Very Harsh Conditions

The depth of Hadal Zones are roughly around 6,000 m to about 11,000 m. The salinity of the Hadal zone is 34-35g/kg
